| Description |
|
The Manchester House was completed in 1976, the first building designed by Steven Holl, and restored in 2022. The concept is the metaphor of an oyster shell with a grey stained cedar exterior and smooth white interior. The house is two squares in plan with two square courtyards—all proportions governed by the golden section. |
